Mankind has a plan but then God has his. Sometimes that gets lost to our sight.

Gen Z is thus far the most stupid generation yet. Being raised by the millennials who were the first generation to have video games in their homes and it changed them and the world around us.

Many will disagree with me and that is fine as I have looked at this a million different ways and it comes back the same each time.

The “Dumbing Down of America” has been wildly successful. It has been very intentional in order to bring us to this moment in time. Watching this play out makes me curious to see, hoping I live just long enough to know, if Gen Z has enough smarts left in them to NOT run the nation (if we have one left after the regime is done with turning us into Amerizuela) into the ground.

Does America still have it in her population to be great? We have gone downhill with each new generation. I genuinely fear for the future for this and the following generations. If we don’t get the government OUT of our school system NATIONWIDE and put the parents and their communities back in the driver’s seat for our children’s education we are absolutely DOOMED. And it will be our own darn fault for allowing this to continue. Just like the whole trans bs.

I get it. I have one Gen Alpha on his way up, and they are a whole different kettle of fish from the Gen Z. They will either fix this beyond your wildest dreams, or terminate all life 😀

I think meaning can be derived by putting love and beauty back into the world. Believe it or not even meaningless jobs can do this. We can make someone’s day with a kind word or a smile or tell them their face should not be covered and their voice should not be muffled.

Oh, I agree. It's all the mindset you bring to the game, not the game itself. That's next level but they're on the track.

Hey, those Honda element cars run on gasoline, right? Maybe you're right...another reason to keep up the resistance...reason 1,000,0001....

Yep, and the square sunroofs open to give access to roof top popup tent that's pretty awesome. I believe the Ferrari dude came to Honda to design it. Each seat collapses and swings up against wall to create massive party space OR all fold flat to make a giant lounge or bed. Front doors and suicide doors both open to make a huge opening on both sides, speakers are awesome,

I have a 92 Volvo 240, built a small tent this summer, in black hemp over it, collapsable, still sewing on it. Learned how to bend pipes for the frame. Learning how to sew again on an old Singer. An old friend was helping me, but she had to bow out due to jab injury ie she is sort of checking out, mentally. Hard emotionally to see, specially since no one else round me will. thanks for being here folks. She got me more than halfway there (the old friend re the tent, not the Volvo she is still going) wish I could show you a pic of my tent. Built it to stay warm more than cool, hence black. Maybe i can post a pic somewhere.

Respect. I bought my first sewing machine to fix a hammock I love but drove myself batshit trying to make it work. I met an old lady from Huachuca who used to work in a machiladora and she fixed the hammock in 2 minutes, and promptly charged me more than the hammock was worth. 😆

Our’s are GenZ and GenAlpha. They are worlds apart. Multiple reasons for their generational differences. But, The A’s both lost their phones and some other electronics during the summer and they are starting to become human again. I offered them flip phones and they declined.

Thank you for sharing the silent movie. What a treasure! When my boys were little they loved the Snowman movie. No speaking, just music. Beautiful. The silence in that movie held their attention like nothing else.

I like the flip phone idea. Paddle to the Sea is still my kids fav "silent" film. Classic minimalism.

Counterpoint:

If young people are the future of this country, we are in really big trouble.

We are supposed to be a civilized society, but now we are facing an entire generation of young Americans that is completely out of control.  Violent crime is surging all over the nation, theft will cost U.S. retailers more than 100 billion dollars this year alone, and at this moment we are dealing with the worst drug crisis in the entire history of the United States.  Needless to say, all of these problems are primarily being fueled by Americans under the age of 30.  These young people have been raised in a society that has largely rejected traditional values, and now we are reaping the consequences.
