Richard Feynman introduces the basic ideas of quantum mechanics. The main topics include: the basics, the Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, Bell’s theorem and the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox.

Who in their right mind would dump $1k a month on a car -- a depreciating asset!?

You could start investing in real estate easily with that kind of money.

That's crazy!

Plus those are the cars that can be instantly and globally disabled, if the right person wants it to happen. Remember when AWS was down, and Tesla drivers couldn't get into, or drive, their cars?

Forget that! In going to stick with my used cars, which run on gas -- that I own.

Gotta have that Ford F150, or 350, with a show-bed I would never actually use or scratch, like 1000 other guys in the area. Gotta show how unique and accomplished I am.

Haha, "show bed!" I know exactly what you mean.

I have two Hondas. A 2008 CR-V that I bought for $800 from a company I used to work for, and a 2010 Honda Odyssey. Both are paid off, and I can drive them for decades.

The Odyssey is my truck if need be. I hauled one of those Lifetime 8 x 10 foot plastic sheds in it, still on the pallet! And I loaded it with left over floor tile one time until it was sitting on the rubber travel stops for the struts! Wouldn't trade it for one second. 😉👉

I did have an S-10 with a 4.3 V6 for a few years. I bought it for $1.9k from some dude that used to work with my wife's dad. That was a great little truck. I sold it for $1k to some lawn service guy.

These trucks now have beds that are too damn high up. Like you're actually going to use a pickup truck at a loading dock. You can't put a truck box in them and use it unless you're 8 feet tall or wear stilts on the regular. No utility in that at all. I'll stick with my mini-van. 🤣😂

There’s BTC and shit-coins.

WallStreet has turned BTC into an asset class based in USD currency, which is not what BTC was originally intended to do.

BTC is real money, designed to operate outside of Wallstreet - originally. The split into BTC and BCH did pave the way for BTC being used as an investment product, unfortunately.

Central bankers want to own as much of this money as they can.

They can buy it with USD’s that they conjure out on computer screens, from the banks they own…then…they’ll shut down BTC or use it for their own purposes. If they own enough, they could cause another fork…

They like to conjure USD’s (with loans) and buy assets that increase in value. Then, they can conjure more USD’s to buy more BTC as long as the value increases over time..

They seem to own enough to influence valuation in USD currency, and want to frighten the public into panic selling by crashing the price on occasions.

Shit-coins will fail when/if BTC fails. There are some good privacy coins to avoid BTC’s pitfalls, but for the most part shit-coins are not money, but more like shares in a corporation.

IF we keep HODLing enough of this money (BTC) we could stop them.

Hi JC,

Do you, or have you, or has anyone, ever played poker?

Might be something to explore.

It's actually a very old (but kinda "new") untraceable (at low stakes) underground (dissident, anarchist) economy with quite a large eco-system, full of recreational fish with disposable money to burn.

"Live cash" games, not the online sites mind you...

Just my 2 cents.

Feedback welcome.

I say folks should wise up and use the trend for good. Put yourself, your family in a better spot financially so you can donate to a cause, fly to a protest, do some prepping, and enjoy life fully.

It's the love of money and power that corrupts. Money is essential as is power, otherwise there would be no good "parenting" or good "leadership".

Great background read for newbies:

"There have never been tulips like Bitcoin. I am buying these tulips with both hands because I see the strong fundamentals beneath the surface. More importantly, most other people do not see these fundamentals yet. We can confirm this because many crypto commentators don’t even know where to look when it comes to evaluating Bitcoin’s progress. Even more importantly, the current sentiment is too negative and apathetic to ignore. My recommendation is not for you to take my word on these points, but for you to look and find the truth yourself.

I reaffirm my buy rating and would upgrade to strong buy at $20,000. If it falls below that point, I will liquidate some stocks to buy more (unless stocks also happen to be down big). The next several months should be very interesting with all the catalysts listed at the beginning of this article. 2024 looks like a wonderful year for BTC. https://seekingalpha.com/article/4635271-bitcoin-why-im-buying-14-year-old-tulips-with-both-hands
