Couple of headlines and a great Saturday Coffee update to listen to from London Real (don't subscribe, no need to IMHO. Just listen to the summary of what's happening)

In short, this is the “big boys” of Wall Street getting ready to pile in after shutting down most of the competition.

For good or bad, and regardless of long term viability their goal is to make big money at all cost and on their terms, and they only invest when they know they can win big.

They own the game.

The usual playbook has always been:

1. Downplay and disparage the new asset class competing with their exisiting business.

2. Quietly study and build the infrastructure to enable and control the new thing.

3. Play dirty (deniably so) to take out your competition and demand “consumer protection” regulations that position you in the catbird seat and wipe out or hamstring your competition, and buy the rest out.

4. Keep quiet while you position hundreds of billions to benefit.

5. Start pumping the asset and launch convenient, easy solutions for the public to participate.

6. Start a bull market

7. Clean up/make a killing

GUESS WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW? PAY ATTENTION

You can ride along and change your life and that of your loved ones. This works, as a basic concept, with anything “new”. Note that you could have made as much by getting into internet stocks after the big initial crash in 1999 as anyone.

A COUPLE OF BITCOIN EXPOSURE STOCKS TO EXPLORE (and you don't have to worry about custody, theft or “losing your crypto keys”. You can buy these in just about ANY investment account or IRA, and some 401ks that allow self-trading brokerage)

GBTC a closed end fund of bitcoin, currently trading at 28% discount to its intrinsic value (NAV). Yeah, think about that..

ETHE Same as above, but for Ether.

MSTR (biggest corporate asset they own is billions in bitcoin. CEO Michael Saylor is a brilliant guy) The price of their stock is essentially tied to bitcoin, and they've been buying more throughout this dip. Billions more, and you don't have to worry about custody or “losing your crypto keys”

DAPP (fund of miners and other crypto “picks and shovels” peripheral and infrastructure companies)
