It's amusing how, after centuries we are brainwashed into believing things that are provably false and absurd are true. In this case, we are led to believe borders and countries are real. In fact, borders are mental constructs. Countries don't actually exist outside of the fact that we believe they exist. Governments are people in plain clothes and judges / police / military in uniforms (costumes) we accept as re-presenting something else called government. Buildings, ships and vehicles with artwork and flags - with different colors and logos so we can tell them apart?! Imagine you were given the task of introducing an alien (not the illegal kind) to this planet.
On the tour, how would you explain that there are imaginary borders and that people wear costumes to signify different countries. Would the alien look at you and wonder if we are completely insane? Can we just start investing in real people and community, rather than phoney costumes and insignias?
Almost everything in a functional society is a "modern construct". Are you proposing no rules, controls, standards to entry? From the moon you see no borders. So what?
I would state this differently, almost everything in a dysfunctional society is a modern construct. Rules are needed and welcome, as long as they involve voluntary participation. Involuntary participation is the result of minority and majority rule..which is what got us to this point. So, it seems reasonable to stop doing what does not work.
It's not simply that I see no borders from the moon, it's that when we operate society from fundamentally untrue premises we should not expect the outcome to be anything other than failure and collapse of civilization based on living a lie. Playing Roman civilization over and over again is beating a dead horse. So, I propose uncivilization instead. Going back to small communities, based on self governance, a few basic rules that are easy and natural, localized power generation, and regenerative food production...decentralize everything. If we built these huge metropolises and complex global systems..surely we could manage simple small decentralized communities, eh?
