Last week we had some devoutly religious friends at our Friday Night Bonfire.
As the rising flames 🔥 made the fall leaves dance high above, our non IPA'd couple asked a way too sobering question.
“Changa, what do YOU Believe?”
Bum-rushed out of my pyro-mesmerization, I launched into what I hoped was an erudite and cultivated, yet charmingly quirky response.
Mid-sentence, I looked across the fire to see my wife laughing at me.
“Just look at our sauna” she quipped.
What?
“He sticks these things way up by the ceiling for the kids to see!”
Sure enough. Shes right.
I guess your beliefs are not something you’ll figure out someday.
They're already manifesting all around you. You just have to look.
Smart lady 😀
Here's what's on in the infra-red sauna this week. Not much to write home about, but it's probably damn nearly what I “believe”.
Happy Sunday!
What motto’s do you aspire to live by?
Leave something pithy below,
and
Don't sweat the small stuff! :)
There is a famous saying that what the caterpillar perceives as the end, to the butterfly, it is just the beginning. I try to remember that a day lived to its fullest is a day that will never be lost. Do that for 365 days in a year (X) # days until death, and it leaves a lasting legacy.
I believe in the sun, even when it isn’t shining
I believe in love, even when it isn’t shown
I believe in God, even when He does not speak
