I guess Biden said no to the long range ATACMs. And they the US has told the Ukrainians that it does not want American weapons attacking inside Russia. So the administration is keenly aware of the risks and their inability to wage a war with Russia now. And they want to pivot to China. So there will be no American troops fighting the Russians and no American weapons hitting deep inside Russia. The administration now needs a way out of this war and someone to blame before the next election. The Russians will launch an offensive when they are complexly prepared and before the elections next year in the United States. This will result in the total defeat and surrender of Ukraine and the end the western influence there. This will be a geo political disaster for the US and its minions. The End.
One small observation: 1000 men lost per day is a metric that tells you something useful; but 1000/day/population tells you something too. A small country like Ukraine losing 1000 men a day is very different from a big country like the US losing 1000/day.
