They only see each other at school. Or so I’m told. I wish he would learn from his sister. She is 17, met and started dating a true gem of a young man who adores her. The only boyfriend she’s had. He’s in his 1st year of college. In between jobs so they have their dates here at our house, having dinner with our family and they watch a movie or play cards. And he tells her she’s beautiful and brings her flowers. That’s almost unheard of in this day and age.
Unless you want your boys to be "sugar daddies" you'll want to be aware and help them be aware of this. ITS ALL AROUND YOU NOW, AND PART OF NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR MANY.

My daughters are between 31 and 24, and I know two of their friends who've been sugar babies, maybe three, maybe a lot more. One to get through nursing school. Another to travel and pay the rent. But their other choices have been polyamorous men, who get the same benefit with zero commitment. And these are smart, interesting women.
Has dating become covert prostitution, where men are seen as johns and women as whores?
As predicted, contraception detached love and fertility, turning future mothers into mere objects to be manipulated and even bought, while turning future fathers into mere objects to be manipulated and even bought (with pleasure).
Love became lust... for pleasure... men seeking more sexual/company, women seeking more material/company. Using means abusing. Letting be used means letting be abused. Interestingly, both sides abuse and are abused.
Contraception-based relationships means just a commercial joint venture. A barter of selfishness. Selfless marriage has been changed for selfish "liberation" (i.e. slavery to the material world).
What explains the higher STD rates, the lower marriage rates, the higher divorce rates, the higher domestic violence, the childhood trauma and diminishing fertility rates around the world?: the destruction of the real meaning of lifelong selfless love until death, through contraception.
Guess what explains the growing unhappiness, depression, phobias, disorders and teen/young adult suicide? sexual selfishness.
Nothing new. I believe the digital age helped the transactional relationship of late become a thing. College students looking for money, people who want to live a lifestyle they can’t afford. I’ve met a couple people who engaged in this lifestyle.
Just thankful I was blessed to have met and married my husband the old fashioned through traditional way.

Perhaps the worst of it is the self-deception that romantic love is true love. These may coexist and overlap in some manner, but until we grasp the difference and evolve into spiritual partnerships instead of materialistic transactional ego based romantic relationships..things are going to continue downhill. The devolution of relationships is certainly in part due to the satanic aspect of money itself but also loss of integrity of men and women. We function (or is it really dysfunction) as legal entities within the state. Chattel to be farmed and controlled instead of being living loving free humans beings - who need resources to survive & thrive together not chase worthless digital and paper currency which controls the flow of energy, our thoughts, emotions and actions . Men and women have much to resolve. The jab has further imperilled the situation but may also conversely fuel a return fundamental truths and behavior in the long run. We shall see.
I think the real number is between 15-20%. Don't forget the over 50 crowd and seniors who often have more for the scamsters to take. All those lonely widows and single retirees make a tempting target. Despite knowing better, many are still taken.

I've talked with men about transactional relationships, some of whom say it's always a transaction and it's cleaner when the terms are up-front.
