We Started supporting O.U.R. in the very beginning.
Our 2 youngest now 16 & 17 we adopted 14 years ago. Abandoned by their drug addicted mom that was trafficked by their illegal immigrant bio father. He was a monster. She left him, then abandoned these babies at a McDonald’s and by the Grace of God thankfully someone rescued them and called the police. They are our niece and nephew on my husbands side. It took DCF 3 weeks to track down family. The birth parents were both in jail by then. The court had to look at both birth parents extended family to determine placement into protective custody. No one on the bio fathers side was a legal immigrant. The birth father was deported a year later.
We will never know the full extent of horrors the kids had to endure before we took custody but it was pretty bad. This helped open our eyes to what’s going on at the border and how close the kids came to being caught up in it.
Now there are probably close to 100,000 unaccompanied, lost undocumented children in this country. This is a global problem. Probably all child sex slaves.
God Bless Tim Ballard, Tony Robbins, Jim Caveizel and everyone involved in this effort. This is a massive humanitarian crisis and I hope this movie helps wake the masses to bring in an Army of support.
Meant to say it’s really hot here where we are. But it’s July in Florida. Nothing new for this time of year. Winter in the land of Oz. And they still celebrate the 4th.
Thanks so Chelie. Her goodness has outlived their badness. Someday I will have ducks again, Muscoveys are most related (in north america) to Mallards, so I see her when I see Mallards, which is nice. The important thing to say re ducks is that they are more durable than chickens if you have a flooding area, ducks dont mind at all. Best
