Fox who originally owned the rights to Sound of Freedom sold it to Disney who then shelved it. It was finished in 2018. The producer Eduardo Verastegui sued to get the rights to the movie back and went to Angel Studios with the movie. The Sound of Freedom cost $14 million to produce and at last check has grossed $50 million and counting. Neither amazon or Netflix would touch the movie because they thought they would be a loss. Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny cost $295 million to produce. To break even they need to make at least $750 million. so far they have only brought in $65 million. Disney is now an even big loser.
