The warmer the ocean, the more CO2 it releases, and vice versa. Human activity is nill compared to natural CO2 release from nature.
CO2 does keep the air warmer in a way similar to water vapor, but at an insignificant amount. (so small it's imperceptible) CO2 levels are a historically low period in history, and all plants and trees, and therefor all life, benefits from more of it. (because of photosynthesis)
Knowledge is power: Climate is what is expected of a REGION. There is no such thing as "global warming" because that would imply that it's a global phenomenon. Weather is what you get within that region. Just because you have tornadoes and thunderstorms, a snowy winter or hot summer, it doesn't mean the "climate is changing", it's simply WEATHER. Study recent climate history, and you will find droughts lasting 100s of years, and areas of time when natural disasters were at levels not seen today. The fact is, as far as climate and weather is concerned, we live in very peaceful, wet times.
Let's not also forget the climate doom predictions of entities such as the IPCC and NASA, which have all failed, again and again... (control ppl through fear and ignorance is their business)
Lastly: I feel so bad for young folk these days. They are lied to in schools about this topic to an epic degree, and will grow up thinking that exhaust from engines is causing bad weather.

There is definitely the idea of using climate change to justify lockdowns. However, this is really not for climate change but for crowd control.

The hottest day in history! We have finally gotten into the 90's here in Georgia. Now it is hot, but hardly hotter than in the past.
