This was posted by my former Russian language professor (you know who you are!:)

When he escaped to America in the 60's, he was driving his VW rabbit to the ocean and got run out a restaurant when he stopped to asked for directions. "Where's the Bitch" (beach) :)

"My wife and I went through the McDonald's driveway window and I gave the cashier a $5 bill.

Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her 25c.

She said, 'you gave me too much money.'

I said, 'Yes I know, but this way you can just give me a dollar back.'

She sighed and went to get the manager who asked me to repeat my request.

I did so, and he handed me back the 25c, and said 'We're sorry but we don’t do that kind of thing.'

The cashier then proceeded to give me back 75 cents in change.

Do not confuse the people at MacD's.

We had to have the garage door repaired.

The repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.

I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one made at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.

He shook his head and said, 'You need a 1/4 horsepower.'

I responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4 and he said, 'NOOO, it's not. Four is larger than two.'

We haven't used that repairman since...

I live in a semi rural area.

We recently had a new neighbor call the local city council office to request the removal of the DEER CROSSING sign on our road.

The reason: 'Too many deers are being hit by cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be crossing anymore.'

IDIOT SIGHTING IN FOOD SERVICE.

My daughter went to a Mexican fast food and ordered a taco.

She asked the person behind the counter for 'minimal lettuce.'

He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg lettuce.

I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when an airport employee asked,

'Has anyone put anything in your baggage without your knowledge?'

To which I replied, 'If it was without my knowledge, how would I know?'

He smiled knowingly and nodded, 'That's why we ask.'

The pedestrian light on the corner beeps when it's safe to cross the street.

I was crossing with an 'intellectually challenged' co-worker of mine.

She asked if I knew what the beeper was for.

I explained that it signals blind people when the light is red.

Appalled, she responded, 'what on earth are blind people doing driving?!'

She is a government employee.....

When my wife and I arrived at a car dealership to pick up our car after a

service, we were told the keys had been locked in it.

We went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver’s side door.

As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked.

‘Hey,' I announced to the technician, 'its open!'

His reply, 'I know. I already did that side.'

STAY ALERT!

They walk among us, they breed, and they vote…....

You now have 2 options...

Delete it…..

or

Send it along to put a smile on someone's face today!.

Great material! Very funny.

In the past, in the "Stone Age", before covid19, this kind of stuff used to be called... JOKES.

Now, this kind of thing is called real life. Less a joke, more a threat because too many people are alike to those portrayed in this writing you've done.

It is rare that anyone is held accountable for any bad behavior, so . . . no consequences for bad choices means more and more bad choices. That's my theory and I'm stickin' to it.

Ok, but unaccountability has quadrupled since 2019. Really?

It's a snowball effect. Sure. And maybe only one factor. But still. If you're not held accountable for small decisions as a kid, your irresponsibility just keeps growing and growing until your entire life is one big mess.

It's called quiet quitting and it's promoted by the wef, who else. Wef blames it on that ol' covid, the poor dears are upset by the lockdowns, they're depressed. But in fact the reason is they're just a bunch of lazy bum brats that want everything handed to them on a silver platter. Sorry for the rant, but I know a few. Wef is gleefully destroying society, Grüezi! https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/09/tiktok-quiet-quitting-explained/

My non-answer is that all of this is downstream from the decaying morality, decaying family values and the general rot that inevitably follows a long period of ease and plenty. The book; "The Fourth Turning", spells out the cyclic pattern that Mankind has followed since Time began. We've always followed the cycle of the four seasons; Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. A generation which has grown up in the "summer" will soon rot if care is not taken to preserve and store for the winter.

I hate to have to say it, but the last leaves are gone and there's a nip in the air in the mornings. Hope you all got your firewood and potatoes stocked up, 'cause Old Man Winter can be a bastard, and he doesn't care about your "feeeelings"... (or pronouns.) 😉

I think that the fact that society has gone crazy (what is a woman, safe and effective, masking, mostly peaceful riots) is a big part of it. Half the population has followed the crazy down the rabbit hole and the other half can't believe society has gone this crazy, and what's the point of working harder than you have to if the whole shit show is crashing and burning? The younger people who don't buy into the BS have a lot less invested in their careers and many employers have just proven their total disregard for employees with vax mandates and other nonsense.

True.

My local hardware store was a mess during the plandemic because the free government money kept young people from working for him..

The owner, who has 48 years in hardware retail, and I had the following exchange just last week.

Me: "I have to complement you on the clean, organized, and useful hardware store. I like shoping at non-big box stores like yours. Better selection. Easier to find products."

Owner: "That's because I am only hiring older retired people now. The free money young ones don't want to work. They work for a week or two and move on. They got used to that dirty lucre from the government and have terrible work habits."

Me: "Well, all that product that used to be in aisles is now on the shelves. Everything is clean up and easy to find now."

Owner: "During the plandemic, I was unloading supply trucks by myself because I could not get good help. I was unable to stock the shelves with no help. My kids helped when they were home from college, but that was it. Like I said, now I have dependable older people who know how to treat customers."

So it goes.

One the the most commonly reported injuries to VAERS is cognitive injury. I'm willing to bet it's the most commonly unreported injury as well. Who is going to notice if victims get 5% dumber every month until they eventually just stop and stare off (as in advanced prion diseases)?

I think people have changed, but is it the vaccine or is it the desensitization that went on due to the mass formation. When all things will be sacrificed for a disease what does work matter?

Let me tell you, there is something quite liberating about getting off the merry go round. What happens when all life meaning surrounds a virus, your job working at Amazon becomes more meaningless than ever.
