It's Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend (Mon), hubs and I will not be celebrating because our woke-ass 37 yr old daughter has blocked us from her and our grand daughter's lives.
Gonna take a nice long drive up north and burn lots of gas in our combustion engine car and see the beautiful fall colours our many maple and other trees turn this time.of year ๐๐๐ณ๐
What are you doing Jimy? Columbus Day down there, yes?๐
Surprised Thanksgiving is still a thing here, with our virus signalling POS Prime Sinister.
Isn't that when the land theft of indigenous people started?
Enjoy the water and hopefully the sun. The polar vortex is dipping down into Ontario today and our Indian summer(yep, I called it that ๐คฃ) temps of low 80s has come to.an end.
That should say virtue signalling but Imma leave it like that. It looks good and is also true ๐
Agree. Itโs sad that happens in too many families. Life is short and family is precious. When it comes time to say good bye and those loved ones wake up and realize they threw away their childโs relationship with their grandparents, that is a huge loss to that child.
My moms side of the family lives in Vermont and Montreal. Our Canadian relatives have all passed on. But we used to travel their every late summer early fall when we were kids. Someone shared some pictures of Lake Willoughby in Vermont the other day, fall colors are in full force. Just beautiful.
Climate change striking Seattle wokesters hard this weekend. Temps reaching near 80 degrees. It's an easy fix though. Two ice cold IPA's maybe three. We'll see. I'll be cleaning up ghost gardens as it is returning to a ghost now, but I'm hoping to get on the road again later this month--Oregon coast maybe.

Yep, not a mention of it in the press this year though. Columbus apparently did a bad thing.
We're going to try water skiing and tubing one last time!

So sorry to hear about you being kept from your granddaughter. Emotional blackmail is the new virtue signaling ๐

I hope and pray they wake up.
Sounds lovely! Enjoy!
