I see multiple patients in a day who have had encounters with our courts and cops - honorable people - hard-working people - whose lives are destroyed by the corruption. I had a woman in her 60s last week, for instance - white,, middle class, very intelligent (had worked as a paralegal and was very well read and knew how to research) and when she dared to ask for a "forensic audit' of a bogus will involving a deceased relative, the judge declared her to be "practicing law without a license" and threw her in county jail (without formal charge) where she remained for 8 and 1/2 MONTHS (assaulted several times, etc.) without any charges and was finally released without apology. 8.5 months (!) for questioning a local judge with his own little fiefdom and cabal of toady lawyers. This is justice in Amerika. Had she been a black lady, she would most likely be dead. This is real and more cops is not the answer.
