I think that there are groups of people that have an obsession with vaccines thinking that they will make them healthy. Unfortunately for them, this idea has been drummed into their minds for decades through the vaccine requirements for infants and children to go to daycare and school. Another problem is that proper nutrition is not taught so we as a society are not aware of the ability of the body to be able to fight off pathogens and have a robust immune system. Then we have the problem of poisoning the masses through the food and water supply along with pesticides and herbicides that have lowered intelligence and caused more people to be just plain stupid. So I don't think very many parents can make well-informed decisions about vaccines. For them, it is just easier to go with the crowd's mentality.
