Not watching the movie. Watched 10 minutes of the cartoon... it’s 12:30 am, now I need two sleeping pills. FTW

Actually I think it will be worse.

Combine "The Day After" with "The Day After Tomorrow" and "World War Z."

It isn't that I believe in the "nuclear winter" crackpot theory put out by the KGB and our old dear friend Gorby and his 'watermelon' friends, it is that the next little ice age is currently arriving, possibly even the next glaciation, and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it.

As far as the 'zombies,' combine the graphene dioxide with the EMP, and all those liberal flakes will be the rest of the way there!

Interesting read..

Einstein and Oppenheimer were not ethically torn scientists of conscience; they were self-centered opportunists without a whit of moral qualms and key collaborators in mass murder of innocents, who went on to their rewards with the appointment to Princeton.

As for genius, not really, their research reputations were highly inflated by a corrupt news media to cover over a cunning Einstein’s shameless plagiarism of relativity theory at the Zurich patent office and Oppenheimer’s dreamy meanderings and blatant appropriation from other scientists at Los Alamos who went unrecognized, as shown in the movie. In this light, Oppie’s coldness in ditching an aggrieved faculty wife was indicative of a serious character flaw, which treated others as expendable steppingstones toward public acclaim and a lucrative contract. https://rense.com/general97/Oppenheimer.php

Most of us Americans are FAR too comfortable with this "regional/global war" talk.

This is not 1980 with you under your 4th grade desk "staying safe" 😀

YOU ARE ALWAYS 15 MINS OR SO FROM DEATH OR STONE AGE..

The Avangard can launch missiles vertically and horizontally, making the system maneuverable in terms of initial target selection. Once launched it can reach Washington in 15 minutes

A missile that has been designed since the time of the USSR can still be used and even with it is a legal test of the avangard missile system. This is the RS-36 Intercontinental Ballistic Missile or better known as the Cyclone. Western countries, and NATO in particular, are naming the missile named SS-18 Satan.

Many American experts believe that this is precisely the missile that favored the USSR over USA during the Cold War.

This rocket can carry up to three nuclear warheads, but note – only its oldest version. Currently, the missile has a total of six models, each of which can carry a different amount of warheads, the latest model – up to 10 warheads.

To get a bigger picture, one of the modern American Intercontinental Minuteman III rockets can carry up to three warheads.

Perhaps the most dangerous missile that can be launched with the Avangard missile system is the RS-28 Sarmat. It is a rocket capable of carrying between 10 and 15 light warheads at a speed of 27 times the speed of sound. It covers approximately 17,000 to 18,000 kilometers.

According to the above characteristics, the rocket can deliver a charge of up to 50 megatons.

Sarmat has a short boost phase, which shortens the interval when it can be tracked by satellites with infrared sensors, such as the U.S. Space-Based Infrared System, making it more difficult to intercept. It is speculated that the Sarmat could fly a trajectory over the South Pole, completely immune to any current missile defense system, and that it has the Fractional Orbital Bombardment (FOBS) capability.

According to various sources, RS-28’s launch sites are to be equipped with the “Mozyr” active protection system, designed to negate potential adversary’s first strike advantage by kinetically destroying incoming bombs, cruise missiles and ICBM warheads at altitudes of up to 6 km.

a 10-kiloton nuclear bomb that explodes over the White House would kill 130, 230 people and injured about 173,000 more.

Sarmat rockets can carry warheads of up to 50 megatons. You can imagine for yourself the destruction that this rocket would cause.

Even a high altitude detonation would take out the grid and all electronic. We would be in the stone age again. Cars wouldn't work, no phones, no internet, no bank machines, no lights........like I said the stone age.

The more effective the deterrent, the smaller the chance of a first American attack. Belgorod’s deployment therefore does not pose any threat to the West, but it does send a message: don’t get it in your head https://geopolitiekincontext.wordpress.com/

"I hesitated whether to share with readers the deep pessimism that overcame me a couple of days ago over our chances of avoiding nuclear Armageddon. This followed my watching the latest Solovyov political talk show on Russian state television. I have used this show regularly as a litmus test of the mood of Russian social and political elites: that mood has turned black." https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2022/10/15/time-to-start-worrying-again/#respond

The most vulnerable major metro areas to nuclear assault are: “Washington, D.C., Dallas-Fort Worth, Jacksonville, FL, and New York, N.Y. These cities could be potential targets due to their large populations and strategic value.” Including these cities as potential targets for a nuclear strike:

Miami, FL

Los Angeles, CA

San Francisco, CA

Philadelphia, PA

Pittsburgh, PA

Chicago, IL

Houston, TX

Phoenix, AZ

Honolulu, HI

The survivalist website listed Maine, Central Idaho, Oregon, and Northern California as the regions with the lowest priority targets, saying that these regions are “likely to be largely untouched in a nuclear exchange due to their sparse populations and lack of strategic targets.” https://greatgameindia.com/shelter-nuclear-war/

I came across the PDF pamphlet

Protect and Survive

a couple of days ago. Probably shared via somebody's Substack.

It outlines how to survive during/after a nuclear attack.

Might be a good idea to download and print off a few copies. 🤷‍♀️
