When Temu makes you cry
I love my sons.
I don’t know why this stuff on Temu always chokes me up.
Maybe none of us got enough of the good stuff growing up.
“Dad, you’re so cheesy. Just give me money next time you want to get me something” -I can hear it already. Or, maybe time will stop for a second and I’ll get a big hug.
Am I putting this in his graduation gift for me, or for him? I really have no idea now.

Years ago I wrote a letter to my father expressing my appreciation of what he taught me and the traits I got from him. Next time I talked to my mom on the phone, she told me it made him cry. That made it all the more precious to me.
