When Metallica invaded Russia
To me, this is the greatest single example of the power of music.
To me, this is the greatest single example of the power of music. Both Americans and Russians were able to come together after 40 years of fear of each other, and sing some of that terrible tension away. Even the Soviet soldiers joined in! This is a beautiful piece of musical and geopolitical history. Just stunning. Enjoy!
Ronald Reagan would be appalled to see how his own party tosses around his name to promote murder.
Reagan would not sacrifice domestic policy, send “blank checks” to Ukraine, or push America into a global war with nations that have comparable nuclear capability. So what would Reagan do? He would prioritize his own nation and end this complete nonsense.

Fantastic! How could I have missed this video?
Years ago, 1975, we had a reverse of this situation on a much smaller scale.
A friends sister was involved in an exchange student program and the student coming to the US was from East Germany! "She's very pretty" the sister said, and with that three of us guys were off to the airport to pick this young communist up! I was stunned when on the way there, my buddy said that she was studying pharmacy like me!
At the airport, holding a sign with the name "HEIDI" on it, we were shocked when this petite gorgeous young lady wearing a medium length white dress stepped up and said "I'm Heidi."
With that we collected her considerable luggage, good thing there were three of us (!!), and we were off to the front loading area, still calculating how we were going to get it all into the trunk of a '67 Camaro.
Somehow it just fit, thank goodness for no spare tire as the pony car had N50-15s on the back so what would be the point with air shocks and posi rear.
Right before we all piled back in the car, this van pulled up and when the doors opened on it, The O'Jays started blaring out on the radio with "Love Train" which was a big 1972 hit!
This elderly black guy started dancing on the curb, and Heidi joined him in one of the most amazing dance routines I believe I have ever seen. They, two people that could have never met, performed a breath taking impromptu performance that was as inspiring as it was electric!
Literally everyone, including airport security, the police, about three quarters of the crowd, and yes, the three of us, a head, a hippie, and a biker, all joined in.
After the conclusion, everyone clapped and the policeman asked the young lady where she was from. "East Germany" she proudly said.
"And she's not a Communist" I shouted.
"No, I'm a girl." she said.
Everyone laughed, then she spoke up again, "I love America! And I love you Americans!"
With that, she kissed her "dance partner" on the cheek, then stepped over to get in the back seat of the Camaro.
"Nope" I said, "You're riding in the front!"
