GENERAL PATTON UNDERSTOOD and could anticipate Rommel's ("The Desert Fox") moves because he had read and studied his books in german, particularly the 1937 publication pictured below. Today's world requires the same deep knowledge, rather than hype and propaganda. Here's a piece on Putin well worth reading.
We live in a time of intense propaganda, pervasive censorship, and mental “memes” that shortcut rational thinking and solid decision making. 99% of us think we are “free thinkers” but in reality we are putty, easily molded in the skillful hands of the worlds elite movers and shakers who’s objectives have precious little to do with yours.
Need a war to cover a Western Sovereign Debt and Pension default while still maintaining power and getting the serfs to direct their anger away from you and your fellow racketeers? It’s easier than ever these days, so long as you are willing to kill, lie, steal, and deceive the “useless eaters” of the world, most of whom are all too willing to play along as unwitting evangelists of your narrative. (They have to fool themselves you see, because living in a world where people like you are running things is an unthinkable nightmare)
Case in point:
Ukraine. It didn’t happen the way you were told. Putin isn’t “loosing” or backing down. Sanctions are not only “not working” but virulently backfiring and reshaping our world in ways that make the West increasingly obsolete.
We have either the most incompetent leaders in history, or the most corrupt. Either way, we’re in trouble if we accept their narratives and interpretation of what’s happening.
Putin is not spontaneous or rash. His ex-wife, Lyudmila, said that “Everything he did was always thought through.” A Swedish diplomat who knew him said that “he sizes up his opponents coldly and soberly, and anticipates his own and others’ actions well before he makes the first chess move.”
Putin: Lessons from Childhood
As a child growing up in Leningrad, Vladimir Putin lived in a run-down five-story building. He and his parents shared an apartment with two other families. The yard was filled with garbage, and the garbage was filled with rats.
“Putin and his friends used to chase after them with sticks, until one day a large rat, which he had cornered, turned and attacked him, giving him the fright of his life. The memory stayed with him, and years later he would draw the lesson: ‘No one should be cornered. No one should be put in a situation where they have no way out.”

Guess who the FBI official is. Peter Strzok, the disgraced FBI official who was fired for his participation in the FBI’s Russiagate plot against a sitting president of the United States. Emails between Strzok and his FBI lover underline their efforts to prevent Trump’s election and to unseat President Trump if he is elected president.
So why did Newsweek’s presstitute rely on an obvious enemy of Trump to reinforce the Democrat narrative that Trump kept the documents in order to sell out the United States?
You know the answer. It is a warning to all future presidents not to interfere with the deep states’ governing of America. In America elected representatives of the people are front men and women who are tolerated as long as they don’t interfere.
