This is, hands-down, the best thing I've ever seen anyone do with a drone. And a stock retail drone at that. I don't know if this has been done before, but I've definitely never seen anything like it and it gives an incredible insight into the environment and the challenge involved in reaching the highest point on Earth, from an angle I've never seen before.
Not only that, but this is stunningly composed, to boot. Framing, grading (in a horribly challenging environment to expose), shot variety and final presentation are all top notch. Filmed in outrageously low temperatures, in thin air, and smoothly controlled through thermal survival gear and blinding glare...
Not to mention carrying the bloody thing up Everest, and finding the time (and willingness from fellow climbers) to stop to get it out and film, in a place where every minute counts and there is an urgency to get the hell out of there as quickly as possible once you've summited.
Beyond impressive. I think I'm done here. 👏 WATCH!!
Impressive production, but it was ruined by the waving of the Banderite flag from the top of the world. Completely destroyed the mood...
Yep but they don't show all the Sherpa's that carried all the kit to make this all possible;
The Sherpas spend their entire lives high up on those mountains they don't even get altitude sickness;
Stronger that bulls and paid well by the KG to carry anything including beer or inflatable love dolls;
