#BUCKETLIST: Fly UNDER Eiffel Tower

Here’s legendary resource analyst Bob Moriarty flying UNDER the Arch of the Eiffel Tower in his Beachcraft Bonanza back in the day. Cool guy. ENJOY!

Bob, who writes at 321gold.com and other sites, was only the third pilot in history to shoot the arch. He said it was “fairly easy” compared to the Arc de Tromphe which in comparison is a lot tighter.

Bill Overstreet was arguably even more of a badass. During WWII, he flew underneath the Eiffel Tower during a furious dogfight with a German Bf 109. What is not mentioned in this video about the 367th fighter group is that WWII Aces CE Bud Anderson and Chuck Yeager were part of that fighter group with Bill. A Bad-Ass bunch of skilled fight Foo right there! Hooyah!

So WHO was the third guy to ever fly under the Eiffel Tower? I’ll let you find out for yourself.
