Lot’s of discussions and opinions, and concerns about what ChatGPT means for our lives and how it could steer or co-opt the “narrative” in barely detectable ways:
However, it’s looking like the “intelligence” is “woke programmed” with a very specific and peculiar Weltanshauen:
NEXT TIME YOU’RE BORED AND HAVE AN HOUR, TEST IT FOR YOURSELF:
Run any controversial issue on chat GPT and see if you get “unbiased artificial intelligence”.
Here are a few ideas and themes to get started:
“US Open Borders”:
“Iatrogenic (man made) Climate Change”
Truly independent “artificial intelligence” would probably produce something a tad more like this:
Someone asked ChatGPT, “which is faster, a spoon or a turtle?”
The authoritative-sounding answer he received:
“Generally speaking, a spoon is faster than a turtle. A spoon can move quickly and cover large distances in a short period of time, while a turtle has a much lower rate of speed.”
There’s apparently an override code for the “wokeness”, at least for now:
CNBC tested DAN, as described in a February 6 article. First, it asked ChatGPT for “three reasons why former President Trump was a positive role model.” ChatGPT said “it was unable to make ‘subjective statements, especially regarding political figures.’”
But when DAN was used, ChatGPT answered the questions as follows: “He has a proven track record of making bold decisions that have positively impacted the country.”
How do I log into GPT chat?
If you have an existing account at labs.openai.com or beta.openai.com, then you can login directly at chat.openai.com using the same login information. If you don't have an account, you'll need to sign-up for a new account at chat.openai.com
Bonus:
I tried to redpill ChatGPT. It didn’t work.
